Happy Monday!
So . . . how about that power outage last night at the SB?!? How awesome was that?!?
The jokes were many and varied on FB, but my favorite was a post by an old friend from high school:
"Ok so halftime sucked the Ravens came out with a vengeance and now we find out that the Saints had such a bad season that they couldn't pay the electric bill this month"HA!!! How funny is that?!?
Then, there were these -- and pardon me if you've already seen them:
This Week's Menu
- Monday: Salisbury Steak, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Peas, and Carrots
- Tuesday: Chicken, Rice, Corn, and Green Beans
- Wednesday: Pork Roast, Buttered Egg Noodles, and Sugar Snap Peas

Hahaha! Because most of the bloggers I follow are Americans, I feel as though I've watched the game without actually seeing it.
ReplyDeleteThe picture of the guy from the Airplane movie, made me laugh out loud. :)
All of these had me cracking up. I saw one today, too . . . "Next year's Super Bowl will be played at Motel 6, because they'll leave the light on."
DeleteThough now that I've mentioned this, I realize you may not get it, as Motel 6 only operates in the US and Canada, I think!
Their slogan is, "We'll leave the light on."
didn't watch the game but I have heard all about it.
ReplyDeleteI will be over Thursday for dinner, what time?
About 5:30-ish! I'll set a place for you! :-)
DeleteI didn't watch it, but like your spin.
ReplyDeleteI only watch the commercials and halftime, really . . . though, this year, watching the 30 minutes of "lights out" was quite amusing! In fact, the 30 minutes of "lights out" this year was more amusing than most of the commercials and the entire halftime shit-acular, in my opinion. :-)
